Sassafras Springs Vineyard and Winery

Overall, Sassafras is a beautiful wedding venue, but the details matter. We have visited many times over the years for wine, meals, and drinks, but this was our first experience hosting a wedding there. The grounds were well maintained, the buildings were beautiful, and the setting was perfect. In the big picture, they delivered. However, as the parents of the bride, several operational issues required our attention when we should have been enjoying the day with family and friends. First, we were not informed that the air-conditioning system had a significant leak over the indoor dance floor. The system had also been turned off, and with approximately 200 guests in formal attire on an August afternoon, the room became uncomfortable quickly. Once it was turned back on, a tub was placed on a wine barrel to catch the leaking water. Unfortunately, water from the tub dripped onto the polished concrete floor, causing my wife’s chair to slide out from under her. A table collapsed and a glass vase shattered. Thankfully, she was not injured. Second, our contract included a golf cart for transporting the bride and bridesmaids beginning at 9:00 a.m. It was not available until around 11:00

This was the most beautiful place. We enjoyed a delightful selection of wine with an absolutely gorgeous atmosphere. The staff was polite and friendly and the owners, who stopped by to introduce themselves, were truly lovely. Highly recommend.

Wow!! Gorgeous venue! We came here for a wedding and everything was beautiful. There is a lot of effort in the attention to detail throughout the property. The food was catered. This a beautiful venue to host an event. I highly recommend.

What a great experience! We visited while vacationing in the area from Dallas. While there are many places to see and things to do in northwest Arkansas… Sassafras springs was the first place we wanted to visit and was easily the highlight of our trip. Between the incredible wine, food, and the friendly staff (Denton is the man!), it felt like the perfect ‘welcome to Arkansas’ experience. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I just want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for one of the most beautiful wedding weekends! The bride and groom were just absolutely over the moon. I think we used every square inch of that property over the three days we were there! The production room for the sunset rehearsal and candlelight dinner for 80… the lodge and retreat for the bridal brunch and grooms breakfast… the chapel ruins for the ceremony… the stables, veranda and lawn for the garden party cocktail style reception… sunset photos in the vineyard… and even a small after party for the younger set… everything was perfect. Your team did a stellar job and everyone was so helpful! From the very first personal tour with Cheryl… to the two amazing lodges Drew provided on property for both the bride and groom’s large wedding party… to Sarah/Alexis/Kelsey and the thousands and thousands of details for all our events… everything was perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing!
